Jesus Christ showed us Greater Love
Stake Presidency Message
Church is the perfect place to draw closer to Jesus Christ. It’s a refuge from the chaos and distractions of the world. Worshipping Jesus and attending church services shows your desire to follow Him. It can also help you learn more about Jesus Christ from others who are striving to follow Him.
Living in remembrance all year
Everything we do—every meeting, act of service, and moment of counsel—draws meaning and power from Him. We are here because of Jesus Christ. It is His work, His Church, and His invitation to the world: “Come, follow Me.”
But how do we truly come to Him? How do we help others come to Him—not just for a moment, but for a lifetime? The answers guide our actions and focus our purpose.
We come to Jesus Christ by:
Live the Gospel—not just know it. Let it shape your words, habits, and desires.
Care for those in need—when we lift the weary or minister to “the least of these,” we serve Him.
Invite all to receive the gospel—extend His invitation: Come and see.
Unite families for eternity—fulfilling His promise of everlasting joy in His children.
Taken together, these are not separate tasks. Rather, they form one continuous pattern of discipleship—a way of living that orients our lives toward Him.
As we follow this pattern and fix our eyes on Him—when Jesus Christ is not just part of our message but its heart—we find strength to love, courage to lead with compassion, and faith to endure with gladness.
Let us commit to leading ourselves and those we serve to Him—today, tomorrow, and throughout all our service. Take specific steps this week to live His gospel, care for others, invite someone to learn of Him, or help unite families. In doing so, we become true, lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.
“If our lives and our faith are centered upon Jesus Christ and his restored gospel, nothing can ever go permanently wrong. On the other hand, if our lives are not centered on the Savior and his teachings, no other success can ever be permanently right."
